Dockside Pub is looking for an experienced Chef. We are looking for someone that can maintain and grow the business - order and inventory food - develop an amazing cooking team.
Job Duties :
- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
- Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
- Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
- Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards
- set up and execute catered parties and buffets etc

5+ years experience
- Food cost, Inventory, and labor control
- Bilingual is a plus
- TEAMWORK and a GREAT attitude are required!
- Must have flexible availability Weekends & Holidays required
- Accurately and efficiently teach how to cook meats, fish, vegetables and other hot food products
- Ability to keep work area clean, organized and to code
- Previous high volume experience preferred
