Job Details :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate : $18-24 / hr Based on Experience
- Employment Type : Contract to hire!
Responsibilities : As a Follow Up Representative, you'll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for :
- Handling the export, import, and submission of claims across systems
- Overseeing medical billing collections and conducting follow-up procedures
- Addressing insurance denials and correcting underpayment discrepancies
- Conducting thorough reviews of medical claims for accuracy
- Troubleshooting and resolving obstacles to claim resolution
- Maintaining precise documentation and performing efficient data entry
- Confirming patient health insurance benefits
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Follow Up Medical Biller is essential
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using EMR systems such as Epic / Navinet is preferred
