Under direct supervision of the Returns Supervisor, the Returns Clerk is responsible for receiving and assessing returned product to determine its disposition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receives inbound return shipments from Customers.
- Matches product with Returns Authorization on file.
- Notifies Customer Service Representative who issued the RA if there is a discrepancy between the authorization and the product received.
- Inspects quality of returned product to determine disposition of product.
- Receives product into system using WMS.
- Places product returning to inventory and stages in specified staging areas to return to stock.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience : Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent along with 2 years of experience working in a distribution environment.
Language Skills : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Listens and gets clarification.
Listens to others without interrupting.
Mathematical Skills : Intermediate mathematical skills required. Must be able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations. Exceptional organizational skills required.
Ability to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment and diplomacy.
Computer Skills : Computer proficiency required in WMS and Microsoft applications.

Pay Range : $16.80 - $18.80 based on experience
