Bloomington Medical Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience or certification to practice in our Orthopedic office.
We offer general, sports and spine orthopedic services.
Responsibilities include :
- This is a full-time position. Outpatient / Inpatient and assisting in OR.
- Practice includes health promotion, prevention as well as acute and chronic care.
- Obtain patient history, perform assessment in an outpatient setting to determine how to help patients with their needs.
- Position may include rounding on hospitalized patients.
- Performs procedures within the scope of practice.
- Office phone call coverage participation.
- Collaborate with physician and refer to services as needed to provide excellent quality services to our patients.
- Counsel and educate patient and their families / caregivers, as appropriate.
- Documentation of care in our electronic medical record.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and standard of care. Providing care within the scope of practice.
- Communication with other health care providers as needed to promote continuity of care.
- Other duties as assigned.
