We are offering a $15,000 Sign On Bonus for those who meet the eligibility requirements.
Position Summary :
The incumbent is responsible for providing direct health care services to the cardiac surgery patient population. Within this role the incumbent synthesizes theoretical scientific and contemporary clinical knowledge for the assessment and management of both health and illness states.
The primary care provided consists of evaluation of normal and abnormal findings initiation of treatments and coordinating the discharge process.
These functions will be performed in accordance with the Standardized Procedures approved by the Mercy General Hospital Committee for Credentials and Interdisciplinary Practices and Cardiology section.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement :
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioner, and certification as a nurse practitioner.
Provider number (NPI) is required. Eligible to apply for furnishing and DEA license in order to prescribe medications within approved standardized procedures.
Current CA licensure as a RN
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as an acute care Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner
Masters degree in nursing
Pay Range
$93.00 - $101.00 / hour
