Job Title : Shipping & Receiving Lead

We are currently seeking experienced Shipping & Receiving professionals with a minimum of 2 years in a management role. As a Shipping & Receiving Lead, you will oversee all aspects of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient handling and distribution of goods.

Please note that this position requires working in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead, motivate, and direct employees through effective performance management techniques, setting expectations, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues
• Review shipment orders, allocate tasks to team members, and ensure efficient staging of shipments
• Collaborate with supervisors to establish nightly shift plans
• Resolve daily operational issues related to Shipping & Receiving services
• Welcome and assist visitors and drivers promptly and courteously
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely and precise preparation of shipping and receiving documents
• Receive, count, and log cash payments from carriers as required
• Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and update visual aids to optimize traffic flow
• Verify paperwork accuracy and release drivers upon completion
• Complete receipts, including pallet counts for loads
• Validate product and quantities to ensure accurate data entry into the computer system
• Schedule outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups
• Contact carriers regarding delayed or missed trucks, rescheduling appointments as necessary
• Adhere to HACCP and SQF guidelines to uphold food quality and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills :

• Minimum 2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience
• 2 years of managerial experience required
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to collaboration
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, or varying shifts to ensure continuous 24 / 7 operational coverage

Shifts Available :

• 2nd shift : 3 : 30 PM - 2 AM
• Mandatory training during 1st shift
