The Department of Educational Policy Studies in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education at Florida International University invites applications for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor beginning Fall 2024.
This is a 12-month position.
Qualifications : (1) Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or related field; (2) Demonstrated evidence of teaching ability / success at the graduate level;
3) Demonstrated evidence of collaborative work with public K-12 school districts.
Responsibilities : (1) Teach graduate level courses in educational leadership; (2) administer graduate programs in educational leadership;
3) coordinate collaborative program work with Miami Dade County Public Schools.
The Program offers the M.S., Ed.S. and Ed.D. degrees in Educational Leadership. All degrees place special emphasis on graduating students equipped for cross-cultural exchanges, particularly in urban settings.
