The Opportunity

The gRED Infrastructure and Architecture (I&A) group seeks a talented and motivated Product Manager to join us to lead the development and growth of our High-Performance Computing (HPC) platform.

This role is critical for supporting our cutting-edge research and data analysis needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HPC technologies, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate user needs, goals and pain points into actionable statements for the product team.

Your responsibilities will focus on creating and maintaining a vision and roadmap for shared cloud infrastructure and platform products that support the software development lifecycle and scientific computing workloads.

Planning and Development :

You will define and communicate the vision, strategy and roadmap for our cloud HPC platform.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.

You will oversee platform design, development, and deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Stakeholder Engagement :

You will represent customer and market needs to the business.

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders including users, development teams, architects, and executives.

Research, Strategy and Metrics :

You will assess emerging technologies and trends to guide platform strategy.

You will define and track key performance indicators to measure platform effectiveness.

You will conduct competitive analysis to maintain industry leadership.

Leadership and Communication :

You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver HPC solutions.

You will craft and present compelling narratives to communicate platform value.

Who you are

You will have 6+ years in a technology-related role supporting application and platform products

You will have knowledge of cloud computing services and their use in software development pipelines

You will have strategy skills including requirements gathering, gap analysis and roadmap planning

You will have project management skills with the ability to establish milestones and drive progress

You will have demonstrated experience in software development and application lifecycle management

You will have the ability to gather business use cases and transform them into engineering requirements

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with your own team, technical partners, and stakeholders

Relocation benefits are available for this posting

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $126,700 - 235,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
