Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead our project management teams. The PMO Manager will define the projects needed for the business and then will oversee the execution of all projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver maximum value.
They will also set the strategic vision for the department and monitor performance based on targets, metrics, and KPIs. This role also requires a focus on financial management, as the PMO Manager will be responsible for managing the financial impacts of projects on the company.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the high-level planning and execution of all projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
- Manage a team of Project Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and forecasting costs.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the PMO that is in alignment with organization’s goals and vision.
- Monitor and report on PMO scorecards and metrics (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and analyze the financial impact of projects, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and enhance value.
- Monitor risks, issues, concerns to the projects through risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices. 8.
Report out on project performance and overall updates to executive leadership and appropriate stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements :
- Prior experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
- Financial management skills, with the ability to develop budgets, track expenditures, and forecast costs & total impact on the business.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
