We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Planner to join our team!
This is a full-time position with benefits that you can enroll in which includes - Health, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, 401k, 11 Paid Holidays, PTO, and Paid Sick Leave.
The salary range for this position is $105K to $125K.
Maintenance Planner Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. The Maintenance Planner is a key role responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities within the organization.
This position will ensure that all maintenance operations are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
The Maintenance Planner will oversee project coordination, manage technician assignments, and handle procurement and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Maintenance Planning :
- Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Create and manage comprehensive maintenance schedules, aligning with production goals and deadlines.
- Utilize advanced maintenance management systems to optimize planning and scheduling processes.
- Scheduling :
- Work with Contractors, Leads, Work Control Team, and Project Managers to schedule monthly / weekly maintenance schedules
- Project Coordination :
- Lead and oversee complex maintenance projects from inception through completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. (Including IDIQ, Contractors and Vendors)
- Conduct regular project reviews, track progress, and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all project activities.
- Technician Management :
- Assign and supervise maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal use of technician skills and resources.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to maintenance technicians.
- Monitor and evaluate technician performance, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Procurement and Inventory Control :
- Identify, source, and order necessary materials, parts, and equipment for maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring critical items are always available.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating best prices and delivery terms.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Analyze maintenance operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to drive maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance tasks.
- Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities, project status, and inventory levels.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory usage.

Qualifications :
- Education and Experience :
- Maintenance Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and project coordination
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
- Skills and Competencies :
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using advanced CMMS and other maintenance management software.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insightful reports.
- Solid negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and contractors.
Essential Functions
Unusual or Special Physical Requirements of Position
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including manufacturing and industrial settings.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Criticality of Attendance
- Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8.5 hour work day
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
