As a Behavior Technician, you will work in-home to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Your role will be to implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities : Implement individualized ABA therapy sessions in the office setting, following treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
Utilize behavior intervention techniques to teach skills and manage behaviors in line with the client's goals.Record accurate, detailed data during each session to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
Communicate regularly with supervisors, providing feedback on client performance and session details.Participate in team meetings and supervision to review client progress, refine treatment strategies, and collaborate on best practices.
Adjust session materials and approaches as needed to keep therapy engaging, age-appropriate, and effective.Support parents and caregivers by demonstrating strategies they can use to reinforce the treatment plan.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
Attend ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in ABA therapy.Minimum Requirements : High School diploma required.
Must pass a background check.Reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and valid drivers license.Completion of a 40-hour RBT Competency training.
Preference given to those with a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate.Experience Requirements : Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children, adolescents, and / or adults with special needs.Childcare / daycare experience is highly valued.
