We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, a passion for operational excellence, and a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Management :

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud engineers and operations professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
• Set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Operational Excellence :

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including monitoring, automation, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, documentation, and runbooks.
• Strategic Planning :
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction for cloud platform operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, performance improvements, and service enhancements.
• Drive initiatives to modernize and scale our cloud infrastructure to meet growing business needs.

Project Management :

• Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support product development and deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Technical Expertise :

• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and infrastructure operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud platform operations, with at least 5 years in a program management role.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing operations / SRE teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI / CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Salary Range : $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
