Scope :
An Illustrator works on the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations or 3D assets.
Also, the illustrator works on producing sketches, concept art, paintings, designing elements, and more.
Duties :
- Collaborate to create media and graphics.
- Design visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software.
- Meet with the art director to determine the scope of a project and to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like.
- Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
- Produce drafts for client review and make revisions / incorporate changes based on the feedback received.
Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality sketch art or illustrations as you can within the timeframes, using Procreate on iPad and Photoshop.
- Handle revisions from clients in a timely manner.
- Prep files for delivery (edit naming conventions, make sure project is complete).
- Review, critique, and edit other illustrators’ artworks to ensure high quality.
Skills & Requirements :
- A strong background in figure drawing is required. Must submit a portfolio containing samples of figure drawing or croquis / cafe sketches.
- Working with Procreate on iPad strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and digital layering required.
- Must be willing to work in standard operating hours - 9AM - 7PM Pacific Standard Time.
