Leidos Dynetics, is seeking talented CNC Lathe / Mill Turn Machinists to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

Primary Responsibilities

The CNC Lathe / Mill Turn Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts.

Ideal candidate should also have experience in setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.

Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus. 5-axis and / or mill-turn experience is a plus.

Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a High School diploma / GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted.
• Candidate must be able to work overtime when required.
• Applicant must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift, 1st shift.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and / or working knowledge of :

5 axis machining experience with Siemens and or Fanuc controls.

2) two years of 2D & 3D experience with a CAM software tool.

• SURFCAM, Edgecam or Catia experience.
• Experience machining in a prototype environment.
• Mori Seiki on screen programming with Celos controls a plus.

Pay Range : Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
