Shift : 12-hour Southern Swing (Approximately 15 days off per month)
Job Description :
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in RTP, North Carolina.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
Perform MIG / TIG welding processes.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and perform hardwiring to prints.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using electrical test equipment such as multi-meters, amp probes, and data recorders.
Plan and install various electrical equipment, including control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems ranging from 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase, as well as DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac.
Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Interface PCs with PLC controllers (Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs) for equipment troubleshooting.
Maintain working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC); possessing an NEC License is preferred.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
Proficiency in MIG / TIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and perform hardwiring.
Experience with electrical test equipment (multi-meters, amp probes, data recorders, etc.).
Familiarity with installing and maintaining electrical equipment (control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, switches).
Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase, DC motors, and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac).
Ability to troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Experience interfacing PCs with PLC controllers (Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs).
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC); NEC License is preferred.
