Freight Broker Sales Agent

This role is for a sales agent who can add new customers to our ongoing operations. Having an existing book of business and being experienced in sales is a huge advantage and highly preferred.

Some dispatching may be needed, but this role is primarily to obtain new sales for our company.

This position requires a candidate who is self-motivated, has a passion for logistics, is highly organized, and detail-oriented.

The Freight Sales Agent should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.

Additionally, the candidate should be results oriented and help increase sales. Joining our team with a book of business will warrant higher pay.

A minimum of 2 years of logistics sales experience is a must.

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8am 4pm (can be flexible)

In-office; hybrid opportunities may be available for the right candidate

Main Job Responsibilities

• Call, email, visit potential customers to convert them into consistent customers.
• Oversee the transportation of your customer’s freight and ensure timely delivery
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for transportation of goods
• Work with dispatch department to hand over customers so you focus more on getting more business.
• Collaborate with sales and dispatch team to identify new business opportunities
• Attend Trade Shows and other networking events (paid by Fruition) to gain business
• Provide professional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
• Utilize our systems for customer management and tracking

Skills :

• Experience in sales, particularly in freight customer sales
• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management
• Proficient in dispatching shipments and coordinating logistics operations
• Experienced sales skills and a positive outlook.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations for freight transportation
