As an OpenSearch softwaredeveloper you will design implement and test features for ouropensource search and analyticsplatform.
Workwith senior engineers in the team to deliver components of theentirestack .
You willuse your Java skills and experience to contribute to the dataingestion pipelines ofOpenSearch.
You will useyour Java skills and experience to contribute to OpenSearchs corecomponents such as indexing querying distributed systems securityand performance.
You will alsocollaborate with other developers to review code fix bugs andimprove OpenSearchs overall architecture anddesign.
DesiredExperience
Proficiencyin managing and scaling OpenSearch clusters in productionenvironments.
Experience withprogramming languages commonly used with OpenSearch / ElasticSearch(e.g. Java) to help app dev teams craft efficient integrationsquery patterns and indexes.
Experiencewith data ingestion techniques and tools for populatingOpenSearch / Elasticsearchindices.
Solid experience withOpenSearch / Elasticsearch best practices indexing strategies queryoptimization and performancetuning.
Expertise inOpenSearch / Elasticsearch query DSL aggregations and fulltext searchcapabilities.
Strong collaborationand communication skills working in a fully distributedteam.
