Scientist I, Chemistry
Title : Scientist I - Chemistry
Location : Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Duration : 12 Months
Pay : $30 ph.
Key Responsibilities :
- Synthesize polymer particles using established chemistries
- Participate in process optimization, development, and scale-ups for routine production
- Perform analytical characterization of polymeric particles using specialty equipment and instrumentation (including ion-chromatography, particle sizing, and surface area instruments)
- Analyze data, derive conclusions, document findings, write SOPs and prepare reports
- Present written and oral reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups with R&D and manufacturing divisions
- Follow all EH&S safety requirements, participate in safety improvement activities, and carry out to ISO9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy
This individual enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary environment and will possess the following combination of education and experience :
- Hands on experience in the Chemistry laboratory & wet chemistry
- Must obtain Bachelor’s degree in science related field
- Able to lift the weights up to 40 lbs and meet all physical demands to work in chemical laboratory
