A Day in the Life :
As an LVN Advice Nurse in our pediatrics clinic, your day will be dynamic and fulfilling. You’ll focus on triaging and providing essential nursing care, following written and approved protocols to deliver general education and care to patients both over the phone and in person.
You’ll respond to and resolve patient and family inquiries, ensuring those in emergency situations receive timely appointments.
Accurate documentation of clinical information, patient interactions, test results, and office visits is a crucial part of your role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate and integrate patient services
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and clean
- Assist physicians during procedures and examinations
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Perform routine screenings and explain procedures to patients
- Mentor new staff, uphold patient confidentiality, and adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

- Title : Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Competitive pay : $45.00 - $50.00 / hr
- Great Schedule : Part Time (20 hrs / week); Monday, Friday, and Saturday
- Shift Times : 8 : 15am - 5 : 15pm (Mon & Fri), 8 : 15am - 12 : 15pm (Sat)
- Duration : 4 months
- Start Date : ASAP!

Requirements :
- CA Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of triage experience
- Excellent typing and computer skills
- Scheduling experience
