They are renowned for their commitment to excellence and are currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic team.
Role Description :
The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's diverse caseload. This position is ideal for an experienced paralegal passionate about contributing to high-profile cases in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work on varied and dynamic cases, providing essential support to the firm's attorneys.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Managing deadlines and preparing litigation status reports.
- Coordinating with expert witnesses and subpoenaing medical records.
- Participating in the discovery process and managing sensitive data.
- Assisting in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and document notebooks.
- Managing case deadlines and coordinating logistics for depositions, mediations, and inspections.
- Conducting general case investigations and trial attendance as necessary.
Candidate Qualifications :
- A minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a litigation setting.
- Familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A Paralegal Certificate or a degree in legal studies is preferred.
- Experience in insurance defense, personal injury, products liability preferred.
