Hospital Medicine -Sandoval Regional MedicalCenter (SRMC) Section Chief
The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,Department of Internal Medicine seeks an experienced hospitalist leader to lead the Division ofHospital Medicine and work at Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho,New Mexico, adjacent to Albuquerque.
Thisposition is open rank and open track. Collegial atmospheres in a physician run program andcareer development are highlights of these positions.

The candidate will have a proven record of accomplishmentin leadership, clinical service, patient care, and education. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Must be board certified or board eligible inInternal Medicine or Family Medicine by date of hire
- Able to hold a validNM state medical license
- Must be eligible to work in US.
Preferred Qualifications : Preferred qualifications must be scored and be consistent with the attached PAM.
- Experience / interest in clinical service
- Experience instrategic planning & negotiations
- Experience in recruitment and hiring
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and studentsuccess, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
