Plan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiringFollow diagrams, blueprints and interrupt specificationsApplication and knowledge of journeyman electrician level skills in the installation and repair of electrical systems and associated activities which may include the application of some mechanical knowledge to diagnose repair needs for air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, or other equipment as necessary.
Perform any and all work tasks and comply with any work schedules, attendance or duty requirements which may be established by City or Department Rules.
Perform related work as assigned or specified in project drawings, customer specification or project requirement.Manage the cleanliness and organization of the Electrical Shop and main facilityDemonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and toolsComplete all required paperworkWork from all types of step ladders, frame ladders and all size extension ladders.
