Description

Summary : Supports the District Managers in running routes for the sales districts of Wisconsin. Effectively and efficiently sells, delivers, and services all customers on a conventional route resulting in increased sales annually while establishing strong relationships from assigned accounts.

This position should reside in Southern Wisconsin. Must have current Driver’s License and Class B CDL or be able to obtain, with air brake certification, Bernatello's will cover cost to obtain CDL Process.

Job Responsibilities :

1. General Sales and Delivery

• Run relief and vacation routes for sales staff were deemed necessary by Regional manager
• Assist Regional manager to ensure 100% execution of "Pizza 101" throughout the district.
• Assist Regional manager in creating a positive work environment establishing a highly motivated, dynamic sales team.
• Be instrumental in providing valuable input and recommendations to the Regional manager on all aspects of DSD business within the district.
• Execute on any other duties assigned by the Regional manager
• D.O.T
• Utilize safe work practices as described in your handbook
• Understand and comply with applicable Federal, local and state regulations
• Adhere to company rules and regulations, follow all accident and injury reporting procedures.
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle. Always drive in a safe and courteous manner and practice defensive driving techniques.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness. Adhere to the preventative maintenance schedule, and vehicle service and repair guidelines.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Record inspections on the in-cab device, or on a paper DVIR in the event of a device malfunction.
• Practice proper cargo securement techniques using approved securement devices.
• Ensure the accuracy of and certify hours of service on the in-cab ELD. Edit and notate discrepancies or inaccuracies as soon as you are alerted to them.

Follow reporting procedures and use paper driver logs in case of a malfunction.

Complete and submit accurate driver paperwork on time (trip reports, fuel purchases, etc.).
