My client, a pioneering company at the forefront of revolutionary energy technology, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Their mission is to advance the future of sustainable energy by developing cutting-edge fusion reactors that are cost-effective, compact, and scalable.
This role is crucial to the development and optimization of my client's groundbreaking fusion reactor technology. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for fusion reactor technology.
- Perform engineering analysis to ensure systems meet performance and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems.
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical components and systems.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions and improvements.
- Document engineering processes, specifications, and results.
Experience Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years experience as a mechanical engineer in the fusion sector, energy sector, or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and testing.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with high-tech or energy-related projects is a plus.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
