Contract Health Editor (Hybrid)
We are partnering with a leading organization to find experienced Content Editors for a contract role, focused on creating engaging and informative health content for a general consumer audience.
Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in editing digital health content tailored specifically for consumers.
Location : Remote (Mon & Fri) / Onsite in Atlanta, GA (Tues, Wed, Thurs) Local candidates only

- Duration : 4 months, with potential to extend

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the development, quality control, and timely delivery of custom sponsored health content.
- Ensure content accuracy, high quality, and adherence to editorial standards.
- Oversee and edit assignments from freelance writers.
- Collaborate with project managers, editorial teams, medical reviewers, and designers to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) and project management tools to streamline editorial workflows.
- Translate complex medical information into clear, accessible language for a general audience.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience editing consumer-focused health content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in both remote and onsite environments.
- Must be able to provide samples of work featuring consumer-focused health content.
