Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Sitecore QA Lead to design and develop testing strategies for Sitecore applications. The role involves advocating for continuous improvement and a shift-left culture within the QA department.
You will work closely with the project team to ensure high-quality deliverables and drive improvements in testing processes, utilizing both manual and automated approaches.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality deliverables, including test plans, strategies, cases, and reports
- Execute manual and automated tests by breaking down business requirements
- Perform database testing using complex SQL queries
- Identify, raise, and mitigate risks related to testing
- Analyze test results, log defects in JIRA, and work on issue resolution
- Collaborate with project teams on defect resolution and re-testing
- Mentor the team in software testing practices and quality methodologies
- Work with cross-functional teams and internal partner engineering teams in an agile environment
- Estimate testing tasks, manage time efficiently, and work with minimal supervision
- Represent the QA team in leadership communications and stakeholder discussions
- Provide training and technical guidance to junior QA personnel
Qualifications :
- 8+ years of experience in a QA role (QA Engineer, Lead, SDET, or similar)
- Strong experience with Sitecore or similar Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Expertise in testing processes, test design strategies, and open-source test frameworks
- Familiarity with Java, JUnit / TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium for test automation
- Experience handling complex situations, providing technical solutions, and ensuring project deliverables
- Hands-on experience with Azure or other CI systems
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
- Experience with requirements management, defect tracking, and performance management systems
- Coding skills in Java, C++, C#, or Perl
- Expertise in software quality and testing methodologies
Preferred Qualifications :
- Ability to develop automated tests for user stories and automate applications and services
- Experience using and integrating various testing tools within an existing framework
Pay :
$45 - $50 / hr
