The Brand Director is accountable for brand strategy, execution and impact related to assigned brand areas, developing strategy and associated campaigns and programs, and leading and developing their team in support of the growth of their assigned product and service brands across VCA’s 1,000 hospitals in pursuit of established OGSM objectives, including delivery of sales, share and penetration targets.
Focusing on Specialty Care and referral care, including Emergency Care and Urgent Care, and the world-class medical experts and care teams that bring these hospitals to life as their key brand focus, the Brand Director is accountable for brand development and execution;
marketing campaign development and execution; growth strategy development and alignment; and building bridges to Primary Care in key markets to support VCA’s comprehensive care offering.
With three core stakeholder audiences referring primary doctors, pet owners whose pets need care, and VCA care providers who want to provide exceptional experiences to both, the Brand Director will be an experienced B2B and B2C marketer with a strong background in internal communications.
A digital-native, data-driven marketer, the Brand Director will lead the centralization and digitalization of our referral management systems, leveraging new systems and data to develop best-in-class programs and insights to support our growth.
A skilled people manager and talent developer, they will develop an insights-based campaign and content roadmap to support the hospitals and champion our leading specialists, medical providers and care teams, and lead their own team in brand and campaign planning, and successful deployment of and engagement with campaigns and strategies, ensuring excellence of execution in market.
The Brand Director will work cross-functionally with colleagues across VCA and MVH, as well as other internal and external partners and collaborators.
The Brand Director reports to the CCO / VP, B+M, and is a member of the GLT / BLT, on which their role is to share and provide input on brand plans, ideate against cross-portfolio challenges and opportunities, and contribute to co-creating a development-focused, outcomes-oriented environment for the broader team.
