Job Description
The Shop Floor Planner plays an instrumental role in the key planning process of the Company, namely Flow of Finished Goods.
This position is responsible to smooth the daily operations without affecting the plan of the next weeks.
Core Responsibilities :
- Ensure the execution by shift / hours of the sequence of the Final pack, Pre-pack and Processing production plan released by the team.
- Re-balance through the week the production plan (Pre-Pack, Final Pack and Processing) in a shift basis to maintain the data in SAP.
Finished Goods Priorities when the plan is released.
- Keep the plan feasible according of production, processing machine utilization follow the pre-pack plan balanced by days in terms of Pre-Pack Change overs.
- Maintain stability in warehouse capacity through Pre-Pack Plan focus only in the current week.
- Provide priorities to production area when an issue arise (absenteeism, maintenance, etc.) providing direction of which production lines need to be prioritized in the shop floor area.
- Advise to Materials Planning in case to have a shortage of material generated by a late delivery by a supplier, adjust the plan based on the best arrival date, advise the latest changes to the production planners.
- Advise to Molding if they need to restock because any deviation such as quality issue, etc. which can generate a high impact on the plan or the operation (shut down).
- Daily follow up with the partners of the deviations which affect to deliver product on time (OTIF, Schedule Adherence, Accomplishment, volume-PCs) identifying the root cause and trigger actions.
Are you up for the challenge?
- 2 years of experience in production planning processes including Inventory Analysis.
- Experience working with SAP, Excel and problem solving methodology.
- Able to work Monday-Friday in 1st shift from 6 am - 2.30 pm.
