Ranch Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team! In this role, you will provide essential care for our animal patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while they are with us.

Current shifts available : Mondays and Sundays only

Your responsibilities will include :

• Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Feeding and providing fresh water to animals according to specific dietary needs.
• Walking and exercising dogs, ensuring they receive adequate physical activity.
• Monitoring the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and other basic care tasks.
• Providing excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise to be Successful

• Experience : Previous experience in a kennel or animal care setting is preferred but not required. A passion for animal welfare is essential.
• Animal Handling Skills : Comfort and experience with various breeds and species of animals.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support fellow staff members.
• Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure proper care and hygiene standards are met.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving animals.
