Item Picker (Order Picking Machine Experience Needed)

Order Picking Machine Experience Required :

Shift Schedule :

1st Shift : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

About the Role :

Join our team as a Warehouse Picker on the 1st shift with a focus on operating order picking machines and picking cases and or items.

This role requires expertise in handling order picking machinery and will be crucial in ensuring that customer orders are processed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Locate and gather items throughout the warehouse to fulfill order requests.
• Conduct inventory checks for accuracy and inspect items for quality before shipping.
• Operate order picking machines and other equipment to transport materials safely and update our tracking system.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
• Support overall warehouse operations with additional tasks as needed.

Skills and Abilities :

• Proficient in operating order picking machines and other materials handling equipment.
• Strong reading comprehension and communication skills for accurate order fulfillment.
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds and handle physical tasks efficiently.
• Capable of bending, lifting, pulling, and maneuvering while on your feet throughout your shift.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus!

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in warehouse operations, including experience with order picking machines, is preferred.

Additional Information :

• Occasional weekend availability may be required.
• Overtime may be necessary based on business needs.
• Compensation will be based on experience and discussed during the hiring process.
