Private Family Seeks Dedicated Child Support.

Are you a nurturing and dedicated professional seeking a rewarding opportunity as a chilcare support?. The Family is in Nothern New Jersey and is looking for childcare services two of their kids.

One of the kid is special needs and will need a babysitter that has 2 years experience or more in RBT or Tech for special needs.

Responsibilities :

1. Childcare Duties :

• Engage and interact with the children in educational and recreational activities.
• Always ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
• Assist with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with homework and educational tasks as needed.

2. Household Management :

• Manage children's laundry and maintain cleanliness in their living areas.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Organize and maintain children's schedules, including school pickups and extracurricular activities.
• Light housekeeping duties, including tidying common areas and loading / unloading the dishwasher.

3. Transportation :

• Drive children to and from school, appointments, and activities as required.
• Ensure children's safety during transportation and follow all traffic laws.

4. Bedtime Routine :

Assist with bedtime routines, including preparing children for bed and reading bedtime stories.

5. Communication :

Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children's activities, needs, and progress.

Shift Schedule :

Shifts are Thursdays (4pm-8pm), Fridays (4pm-8pm), Sundays (1pm-8pm). Parents are flexible with the days / hours for the right childcare support and can increase hours if needed.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• RBT / Tech certification for Special needs.
• Own car or valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• The older boy has mild autism, and he currently has lessons after school 4-7pm everyday from Monday to Thursday.
• Experience working with children, in a school setting or as a live-in nanny and experience with special needs, including autism, is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to take certifications.
