As a Product Manager Senior within PNC's Retail Lending Personal and Student Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Birmingham AL, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, Wilmington DE, Tysons Corner VA, or Houston TX.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

his role will join the Personal and Student Lending product team, responsible for leading new and enhanced product development, execution and Change Management strategy for Personal Lending and Student Lending.

Owns change delivery and product execution across multiple Personal Lending and Student Lending products

Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders like vendors to ensure all omni-channel experiences meet their strategic goals.

Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. May participate in client facing activities.

Executes strategy across business segments to optimize omni-channel experiences, specifically Digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.

As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.

Monitors the marketplace to assess channel experience trends and results in order to recommend new experiences or enhancements to existing experiences.

Prioritizes and decisions recommendations. Supports business case development.

Leads activities such as initiative planning and execution, gaining leadership and governance approval, product backlog prioritization, release management, transition to BAU planning and business readiness

The preferred candidate will have the following experience and skills :

Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and Waterfall

Held a technology role that had frequent interaction with business partners

Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders

Demonstrated experience with project management

Demonstrated experience of using standard collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira

Effective communication and presentation skills

Experience working with 3rd parties

Expert analytical and problem-solving skills

Expert in design thinking

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Drives business and financial results through the selection, design, development and promotion of new and existing products or experiences utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience.
  • Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to customers through all applicable channels. Prioritizes and makes decisions regarding product recommendations.

Develops business case, business plan and roll-out of specific products or experiences.

Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and market trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommends new products or enhancements to existing products or experiences and develops and designs innovative features.

Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of specific products, and recognizes, anticipates and resolves operational and process problems that arise.

Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners.

Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals.

Develops product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.

Drives business, financial and customer experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications in product features and / or marketing to improve results.
