Job Description :
Sales Demand Planning Analyst
Our client is an international manufacturing company based in Milwaukee. This employer is currently interviewing candidates for a key position on the finance team.
The Sales Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for gathering inputs from key stakeholders, analyzing data, developing insights that support balanced beneficial outcomes, and executing the development and submission of the monthly Sales Demand reports.
This person will support ad-hoc requests involving the assessment of product performance at retail from both a historical perspective as well as forecasting future performance.
Responsibilities :
- Integrate demand, supply, and financial planning into a forward-thinking plan based on input from key functional areas, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and finance.
- Link strategic plans to operational plans to develop the most beneficial product portfolio and product mix to maximize sales and profit.
- Apply strong analytical skills to extract, format, and transform data into information to support key decision making.
- Understand end-to-end SD&I processes to forecast upstream and downstream impacts resulting from changes in supply or demand.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau
- Strong analytical skillset with the ability to extract, format, and transform data into actionable information.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Sales, Demand, and Inventory (SD&I) processes.
- Experience in integrating demand, supply, and financial planning.
- Ability to link strategic plans to operational plans effectively.
- Familiarity with key functional areas such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and finance.
- Proficiency in forecasting upstream and downstream impacts of changes in supply and demand.
- Strong decision-making skills supported by data analysis and interpretation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
