POSITION OVERVIEW
The Talent Acquisition Partner works collaboratively with hiring managers across the organization to execute strategic and creative recruitment strategies.
Manages the full recruitment life cycle, including employment branding, attraction, sourcing, recruiting, evaluation, selection, closing, hiring, and onboarding.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
This position is not responsible for people or budgets. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with all levels of personnel within the organization, outside vendors and consultants.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains relationships with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of talent needs, to offer expert consulting and guidance, and to develop the hiring strategy best suited to each position
- Trains and advises hiring managers about recruiting processes
- Builds accurate and inclusive profiles that best match the needs of the business, prepares and places job advertisements across appropriate media, and coordinates internal job postings
- Manages and guides hiring managers through the evaluation and selection process, including screening for culture fit, creating effective interview guides, and using best practice evaluation tools / processes
- Extends offers and closes qualified candidates by educating them about total rewards packages, company culture, and job-related details
- Builds talent pipelines and candidate pools to recruit for all position levels
- Contributes to a consistent employer brand by executing marketing approaches determined by the senior partner and manager for Talent Acquisition
- Processes candidates recruited through strategic talent pipelines, including internship programs, university recruitment, and other community-oriented programs
- Executes talent acquisition strategy, including consideration of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion integration, in all processes and activities
- Maintains Talent Acquisition systems to reflect current and accurate data, and reports on recruiting metrics
- Ensures compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity mandates and other applicable laws and guidelines
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
QUALIFICATIONS
There are clear precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. This position requires a minimum of three years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Marketing, or related field;
or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery; visual capacity to read policies and procedures, rules, regulations, reports, statistical information, computer monitors, hard copy print and other documents encountered during the course of work;
- oral and auditory capacity enabling communication at conversational levels in person, during presentations and / or over the telephone;
- mobility sufficient to safely move within an office environment and travel to different sites inside and outside service territories;
ability to lift and carry routine office supplies; stamina sufficient to maintain efficiency throughout the course of the work day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primary work environment is a climate-controlled office setting.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
