Hamilt on Connections is looking for packers for a m anufa cturer and supplier of eyelets and blind rivets in Wolcott , CT.
This is a temp-to-perm position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-5 : 30 p.m., Monday-Friday $16+ Candidates must be available to work w eekends as needed .
Job Responsibilities :
- Pulls and stacks product based on daily orders
- Meets specifics of customer o rders in a timely manner
- Good knowledge of basic arithmetic : addition, subtracti on, division and multiplication
- Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Weighs products and labels them appropriately
Job Requirements :
- T wo or more years of manufacturing experience
- Packing experience
- Knowledge of basic math; accuracy in counts
- R esponsible, reliable and ta ke ownership of assigned duties
- Ability to take initiative and organize work independently
