What You'll Do...

We are seeking a strategic-minded and results-oriented Director of Accounts Receivable to work across our Accounts Receivable teams supporting both traditional AR and healthcare AR operations. This role will be responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring regulatory compliance, partnering with H&W operations teams, optimizing reimbursement cycles, and driving enterprise-wide improvements in cash flow and payer performance.

Develop and execute the strategic vision for accounts receivable operations, aligning with organizational goals and healthcare compliance standards.

Lead and mentor AR managers and teams responsible for billing, collections, and cash application.

Collaborate with executive leadership, H&W Operations, and IT to enhance AR workflows and system integrations.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations across all AR activities.

Drive automation, analytics, and process innovation to improve efficiency and reduce cost-to-collect.

Serve as a key liaison with H&W Operations, Finance, and Payer Relations.

Present AR performance, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

What You'll Bring :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle or AR leadership, with at least 5 years in a director or senior leader level role.

Deep understanding of payer reimbursement models, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and value-based arrangements.

Proven success in leading cross functional teams and managing complex AR operations in a multi-entity healthcare environment.

Expertise in healthcare financial systems (e.g., Inmar, eCW, Xifin) and data analytics platforms.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Experience with enterprise-wide AR transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with healthcare benchmarking tools and performance improvement frameworks.

Knowledge of governance and control frameworks, risk assessment, process design, and fraud detection.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
