Job Title : Controls Sales Engineer

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Controls Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Building Automation sector across Portland and surrounding regions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building automation systems, consultative sales, and client development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through consultative sales strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and maximize market presence in Portland, Eugene, Bend, and SW Washington.
- Develop customized automation solutions, working closely with technical teams to deliver complete proposals.
- Create sales proposals and collaborate with leadership to refine strategies for growth.
- Lead educational sessions and represent the company at industry events (BOMA, IFMA, ASHRAE).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building automation sales (B2B).
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems, including BACnet, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
- Experience with large-scale projects and system integration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Local and stable work history in the Portland region.
