Accountabilities / Responsibilities :
Report to department manager for scheduling. Perform daily cleaning procedures in accordance with Treasure Valley Hospital in assigned areas.
Record work on Area Assignment Checklist. Survey assigned area at the beginning of each shift, respond to housekeeping pages, and perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
Qualifications :
Able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must have good communication skills. Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout shift.
Capable of pushing / pulling a maid cart / linen cart (over 100 lbs.) on tile and carpeted floors (frequently). Capable of pushing / pulling furniture (25 to 200 lbs.
occasionally. Frequent interaction with hospital employees requires ability to communicate well with others. Be able to work hours as needed per area assignment and all other duties as assigned.
