We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Assistant Child Care Teacher to join our passionate team at The Red Barn Child Care Center.
As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for young children by sowing seeds of love and knowledge.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Support children's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and implementing nap times.
- Collaborate effectively with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s daily activities and development.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is a plus.
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
