Job Description
We are in search of a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team, focusing on the comprehensive care of the F-35 aircraft, from launch and recovery to full-spectrum maintenance ("nose-to-tail").
The ideal candidate will ensure our aircraft remain in top mechanical condition, guaranteeing safety and readiness for flight.
Beyond this, you may also :
- Conduct Launch and Recovery operations, alongside full-range maintenance tasks, ensuring the F-35 fleet is operationally ready and safe.
- Complete all maintenance, inspections, and servicing of aircraft systems following strict guidelines and directives.
- Achieve necessary certifications for specialized tasks as required (e.g., confined space entry, borescope inspections).
- Implement Field-Level Modifications and manage Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance requirements.
- Provide essential On-The-Job Training (OJT) to new team members, including Interim Contract Support (ICS), Military maintainers, and International partners, enhancing team capabilities.
- Diligently maintain and update aircraft records and statuses within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), ensuring compliance with all directives.
- Communicate effectively with the aircraft production team about current aircraft statuses.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the production and leadership teams.
- Adapt to varying shifts (first, second, and third) on short notice and be ready for temporary duty assignments as needed.
- Uphold stringent housekeeping and safety standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
The position will require working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s). This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations.
Position may also require extended work hours.
Candidate must be able to acquire and keep a flight line driver's competency card.
Physical Requirements : Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and / or feel, reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry.

Desired skills
F-35 or 5th Generation Fighter Experience.
Experience with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
Ejection seat tear-down / build up experience.
Joint Technical Data navigation (JTD)
Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) / Maintenance Vehicle Interface (MVI)
Anomaly Fault Resolution System (AFRS)
Fuel systems experience.
Low Observable (LO) repair and maintenance experience.
Fiber Optic repair and maintenance experience.
Avionics troubleshooting and repair experience
Experience performing in a role of task trainer
