Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Partner with the COO and other senior leaders to provide strategic HR insights and solutions.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Manage performance appraisal and salary review processes.
  • Supervise day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant HR reporting and analytics.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 HR professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a mid-sized company, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Experience in a family owned business, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
