Bear Mountain at Reading is seeking a Business Office Manager for our skilled nursing home.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Deposits and post cash receipts daily.
- Keeps financial folders of each resident current.
- Assures that all pertinent personal and financial information is accurately recorded.
- Receive admission, discharge and bed hold information for census and billing purposes.
- Input all new admission into PCC software and run and tie out daily census reports.
- Generates accurate bills to residents, families, responsible parties.
- Communicates regularly with Utilization Review Nurse, Admissions and Social Services to maintain accurate billing information.
- Reconcile Personal Needs Account bank statements, ensure withdrawal and deposits are processed daily, and quarterly statements are mailed, and complete annual reconciliation for resident Personal Needs Accounts.
- Committed to working with residents and families and coordinate all conversions, and work with families to complete the MassHealth applications.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Bear Mountain’s overall AR goals and objectives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented.
- 1 years’ experience in data entry required.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and other computer applications proficiently required
