Empath Health, a healthcare organization in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / Dietary Aide to care for patients.
Monday-Friday 8a-4 : 30p
In addition to our recent enhancements to the base compensation package for our FT Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), we are pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 29 days of paid time off (PTO) per year.

The CNA / Dietary Aide :
- Undertakes the vital job of meeting the dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients in the hospice house setting.
- In collaboration with the Clinical Director, Registered Dietitian and Food Service Coordinator purchases, stores and prepares attractively presented meals in a sanitary manner, on a timely basis.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and dietary department area and performs clinical / patient care duties as a CNA.
- Provides clinical services to meet care needs of patients in the Hospice House as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Requirements :
- Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant required
- One year of recent experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospice or acute-care setting
- Previous dietary experience preferred
