Your Role With Us :
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for performing specific pharmacy tech job functions requiring a higher degree of expertise with special attention to detail, including accurate documentation, troubleshooting, training of employees, problem-solving, and system implementation and modification.
This position may involve inventory management, stocking and ordering medications and supplies, patient, narcotic and purchasing documentation, patient, vendor and medical personnel interactions, automated distribution set up, system maintenance, and record keeping, IV admixture, and pharmacy order entry.

Background / Expertise :
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Two (2) or more years of recent Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Experience with IV admixture (required), automated dispensing cabinets (ADC), and / or inventory management preferred.
- Current Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- Hazardous Compounding Certification required
- Knowledge of computers (EPIC), pharmacy calculations, pharmacy and medical terminology and drug classifications.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in at least one or more of the following areas : IV Admixture; Narcotic documentation;
inventory management and distribution, and troubleshooting; ADC functions including but not limited to generating and reviewing reports, loading and unloading medications, and troubleshooting.
- Patient interaction and maintenance of files.
- Auditing medication administration records.
