Overview :
Make an impact at a dynamic and growing company! Invicro seeks a Laboratory Assistant for Advanced Pathology Services to support for all routine Histology and IHC work pertaining to delivery of CAP / CLIA and GLP-like oriented lab services offered to external partners, including BioPharma, Academia, and Oncology Research Centers.
Our laboratory performs high complexity immunohistochemistry and other advanced tissue analysis approaches unique to Invicro.

Essential Job Functions :
- Awareness of scope of work / timeline for proposed projects.
- Receive and document samples sent by third parties for testing.
- Complete and update documentation to meet customer expectations.
- Compile and maintain necessary documentation to ensure compliance with CAP / CLIA accreditation requirements.
- Prepare project slides and slide labels for each project
- Clean, pack and ship slides for completed projects.
- Perform basic lab tasks including microtomy, cover slipping, instrument preventive maintenance and documentation
- Help to maintain inventory levels for required reagents and materials.
- Prepares laboratory solutions / reagents.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant biological science.
- 1-2 years’ experience of working in Histology / IHC, hospital or commercial settings.
- Experience in any high throughput laboratory setting would be an advantage
- An awareness of routine laboratory processes including straight forward tasks including preparing solutions, slide writing, carrying out inventory checks
- Clear understanding of the standards required to work in a Histology laboratory
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Possesses effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with typical software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
