We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager / Supervisor in the hospitality industry, based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, from daily operations to financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
- Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Prepare and publish monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
- Establish proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues.
- Work with the executive leadership team to set financial strategy and policy.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Manage month and year-end processes, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations.
Key Skills :
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur software
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Ability to manage various accounting functions
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Auditing skills and experience are required
- Familiarity with billing functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are advantageous
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the Accounting department is desirable.
