The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resources department.
Responsibilities :
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc;
refers more complex questions to the appropriate human resources staff
- Provides clerical support to the human resources department
- Makes all new hire and replacement name badges
- Assists with planning and execution of special human resources events including benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, etc.
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Collect, sort and distribute all incoming mail for the Human Resources department
- Serve as first point of contact for the Human Resources department for all incoming calls and visitors into the department
- Respond to reference checks and verification of employment status requests
- Assist HR leadership with special projects as assigned
- Follow up with appropriate HR team members to obtain necessary information to address questions or concerns or complete handoff
- Others duties as assigned
