Job Title : Building Automation Controls Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Automation Controls Technician to join our team in Orange, CA. This role is integral to maintaining and optimizing building automation systems within commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tridium Niagara, Siemens, and related systems and demonstrate a stable work history with reputable commercial control contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and service building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Work with Tridium Niagara, Siemens, and other control systems to integrate various building automation components.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC, lighting, and other building automation systems issues.
- Develop and modify control programs to meet the specific needs of each project.
- Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports for management and clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Distech, and N4.
- Proven experience with commercial control contractors such as Sunbelt Controls, Climatec, or Next Level Energy Solutions.
- Demonstrated local and stable work history in the building automation industry.
- Strong skills in using Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with building automation systems like Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, chillers, boilers, plumbing, piping, and medical gas systems.
