JOB TITLE : Software Engineer II
LOCATION : 465 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14203
- DUTIES : Build, enhance, and support integration points and reporting for M&T’s Calypso platform; develop and test code and integrate solutions into a live production business environment;
- participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); utilize C# .NET for object-oriented programming, GitFlow, JavaScript Serializable Object Notation (JSON), and eXtensible Markup Language (XML) to design applications and make data portable;
- perform application lifecycle management from application development to sunsetting the application once it reaches end-of-life;
- store information within relational databases; design RESTful API web services; build and query databases utilizing T-SQL and Microsoft SQL;
- utilize Active Directory (AD) for managing identities, resources, and permissions; utilize CI / CD development practices, Agile-Scrum methodologies, and Single Sign On (SSO) protocols;
- coordinate with various vendors and M&T technology teams, and making configuration changes to various technology platforms including Calypso, Automic, Power BI, Azure, and SSIS;
attend meetings with development and business teams to discuss deliverables, issues, and blockers; maintain custom software2 solutions developed in C# .
NET, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, CA Automic Workload Automation, and Power BI; maintain source code branches and prepare releases leveraging the GitFlow branching strategy, GitLab for source control and CICD automation, and ServiceNow for incident and change management;
and meet with junior developers to provide guidance and assist with issues.
- REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirements : Five (5) years of experience (or a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, plus three (3) years) developing and testing code and integrating solutions into a live production business environment;
- working throughout all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); utilizing C# .NET for object-oriented programming, GitFlow, JavaScript Serializable Object Notation (JSON), and eXtensible Markup Language (XML) to design applications and make data portable;
- of which one (1) year experience includes performing application lifecycle management from application development to sunsetting the application once it reaches end-of- life;
- storing information with Relational Databases; utilizing RESTful API web services; building and querying databases utilizing T-SQL and Microsoft SQL;
- utilizing Active Directory (AD) for managing identities, resources, and permissions; utilizing CI / CD development practices;
utilizing Agile-Scrum; and utilizing Single Sign On (SSO) protocol. Full-time.
SALARY : $136,750 to $146,750 per year.
