Human Resources Director
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to direct and administer the Human Resources function at our facility, continuing our effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Minimum Requirements :
- Associate’s degree in human resources management or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years general experience in the HR field.
- Prior HR experience in a long-term care facility required.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws.
- Experience with union agreements.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
As a Human Resources Director, you will :
- Welcome new hires and lead orientation.
- Facilitate effective associate relations within the facility.
- Manage and maintain confidential employee files.
- Administer and interpret Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Track associate leave of absence.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits.
- Assist in creating and coordinating recognition programs or events.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Monitor and respond to unemployment and Workman’s Compensation claims.
- Audit, enter new hires, terminations, promotions, increases, perform edits in payroll and submit for processing.
